Eugene serves as Of Counsel to the firm, assisting us with our litigation matters. In addition to his role at MG Miller, Eugene is the founder and managing member of Kublanovsky Law, where he practices primarily in the areas of intellectual property, commercial litigation and employment law. Prior to starting his own firm over five years ago, he was an associate, and later a partner, at a prominent Wall Street boutique law firm where for over 10 years he handled complex business litigation matters for high net worth clients and businesses large and small.

Eugene is a graduate of Bard College in upstate New York, where he majored in Economics, and of Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and served on its Executive Board. During law school he had the honor of interning for United States District Court Judge John C. Lifland, in the District of New Jersey.

Eugene has worked on matters across the United States, as well as for clients located in Canada, China, Europe, South America and the Middle East. He has litigated – whether in courts or through arbitration – a wide variety of business disputes, including numerous business separations, complicated intellectual property matters (i.e., trade secret misappropriation, trademark, copyright and patent infringement cases) and employment disputes representing employers and executives. He has also assisted financial institutions and publicly traded companies in responding to SEC and state attorney’s general investigations, conducted internal investigations on behalf of Board of Directors and Audit Committees, and advised companies and HR departments with respect to internal employment policies and procedures.

Eugene has served as a member of both his college and law school alumni committees and served as a student career mentor. He is also a member of several bar associations, including the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the New York American Inn of Court, a local chapter of the American Inns of Court, an organization which promotes mentorship, ethics, and professionalism in the law. Eugene served as the Executive Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the New York Inn for nine years and in 2011 was honored to receive the Inn’s Leadership Award.

Eugene was named by Super Lawyer Magazine as a New York Metro Rising Star for four successive years, having been recognized in two separate categories – Business Litigation for 2013 and Intellectual Property for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
