Matt Miller

Principal and Patent Attorney

Matt received formal training in chemistry at the University of Chicago, is very passionate about innovations in high technology, and is an amateur computer programmer. He uses this combination to develop creative, effective, and efficient intellectual property portfolios.

John Acito


During his time at MG Miller, John has gained experience conducting a wide array of legal research, and has been a valuable asset for the firm. In addition to serving clients, John has played an integral role in launching and managing MG Miller’s social media campaigns and continues to find inventive methods for growing the firm’s public impressions.

Hardy Hewson

Legal Intern

Hardy joins MG Miller as a Junior at Columbia University, having studied in France during his Freshman and Sophomore years. Originally from the United Kingdom, Hardy is directly involved in conducting legal research and expanding the firm’s outreach and media campaigns. With his global background, Hardy takes a keen interest in international private law, and was first drawn to intellectual property law while navigating the music licensing industry with his band in London.

Sarah Casilio

Legal Intern

Sarah is a senior studying Finance and Business Law and Ethics at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. In addition to preparing for law school, Sarah is a member of Smart Women’s Securities and Student’s for Fair Trade. As part of her Fair Trade class, Sarah ventured to New Delhi, India where she learned strategies on how to help small businesses grow and support their local communities. She aspires to travel to every continent to expand her knowledge of the world. As a legal intern at MG Miller, she contributes to the blog and social media content
