Matt received formal training in chemistry at the University of Chicago, is very passionate about innovations in high technology, and is an amateur computer programmer. He uses this combination to develop creative, effective, and efficient intellectual property portfolios.
Kurt Watkins is partner at MG Miller and provides corporate and technology contract expertise to help startups generate revenue and attract investment. Kurt is particularly focused on blockchain having worked with the technology for over two years. Before joining MGMiller, he was a transactional associate at a national law firm where he focused primarily on blockchain legal issues, with additional emphases on technology transactions, intellectual property, and privacy matters.
Kali is a litigator and the Principal of Trahanas Law, LLC. Prior to founding her firm, Kali completed a dual clerkship for the Honorable Bonnie J. Mizdol of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Bergen County. Upon commencement of Kali’s clerkship, Judge Mizdol was serving as the Presiding Judge of the Family Part in Bergen County. In this position, Kali assisted Judge Mizdol in a wide range of family matters, including non-dissolution, pre- and post-judgment dissolution, and domestic violence actions.
John Acito is a paralegal here at MG Miller. His experience in editing and professional writing has allowed him to assist in drafting legal documents as well many facets of patent and trademark prosecution.
Caprice is an active volunteer with The Osborne Association, which provides support in all spheres of life for families affected by incarceration. She enjoys tutoring and mentoring children to achieve their goals of attending college. Caprice is also a former volunteer with the Barnard Civic Outreach Program, and enjoyed fostering relationships with local organizations such as Harlem Grown, Mixteca, and CASA NYC.
