TTAB Proceedings

The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) is a federal body that serves as a tribute that reviews certain types of trademark disputes and proceedings.

Specifically, the TTAB handles:

1. Trademark appeals for when an applicant has reached an impasse with an Examining Attorney;

2. Opposition proceedings (a dispute during the public-comment period of a trademark application); and

3. Petitions for Cancellation (a dispute where someone attempts to have an existing trademark registration cancelled).

MG Miller can assist in representing you either in initiating or defending against opposition or cancellation proceedings before the TTAB.
